Presentation Timing
Private Companies
Private Presenters: All private company presentation slots are limited to 15 minutes, which includes the introduction of your company and getting to and from the podium. Therefore, presenters should plan to speak for 14 minutes. We recommend that presenters consider limiting their slide decks to one slide per minute. Q&A is not allowed in the interest of time. Presenters are provided with a breakout area to answer post-presentation questions.
Public Companies
Public Presenters: All public company presentation slots are limited to 30 minutes, which includes the introduction of your company and getting to and from the podium. Therefore, presenters should plan to speak for 25 minutes. We recommend that presenters consider limiting their slide decks to one slide per minute. Q&A is not allowed in the interest of time. Presenters are provided with a breakout area to answer post-presentation questions.
Seed Showcase
All Seed Showcase presentation slots are limited to 7 minutes, which includes the introduction of your company and getting to and from the podium. Therefore, presenters should plan to speak for 6 minutes. We recommend that presenters consider limiting their slide decks to one slide per minute. Q&A is not allowed in the interest of time.
How & When to Submit Your In-Person Presentation & Formatting
- Please upload your in-person company presentation here, by October 25, 2024
- Presentations not submitted by October 25, 2024, MUST be brought to the presenting company check-in room at least five hours before your presentation. If you present in the morning, your presentation must be submitted the day before.
- Presenters are asked to prepare and submit their presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint. If your presentation was prepared on an Apple Mac, please review it at the speaker check-in room with the audiovisual (AV) team on-site before your scheduled presentation time.
- Please bring a copy of your presentation on a flash drive.
Presentation files must be named as follows:
- Company_day_room_time Example: Demy-ColtonTherapeutics_Tues_Room_XXX
- Presenters must use the conference AV systems provided and should not plan to connect their own laptops at the podium.
Increase Your ROI at BioFuture
All company presentations for BioFuture 2024 are in person. We are happy to announce that all presenters also have the option to upload a pre-recorded presentation to HelloPartnering (the BioFuture 0ne-to-One meeting scheduling platform). We strongly encourage all presenting companies to take advantage of this opportunity which in addition to your in-person presentation will allow your pre-recorded presentation to be seen beginning October 3rd prior to and during the conference as well as during the virtual week of November 5-7. Presenter Check-In
- All presenters are asked to go to the presenting company check-in room to check in with our staff.
- All presenters are reminded to bring a backup copy of your presentation with you to the conference.
Presenting Company Check-In Location
Hours of operation:
- October 28th, 11:00 am–5:00 pm
- October 29th, 8:00 am–5:00 pm
- October 30th, 8:00 am–5:00 pm
Presentation Rooms
- Each presentation room will be staffed by a dedicated AV technician.
- Each room will have a monitor in front of the podium so the presenter can see his/her presentation. Each room will be equipped with a timer to assist the presenter and moderator.
- The podium will be equipped with a microphone. Each presenter will be introduced by a moderator.
- Please arrive at your presentation room 15 minutes before your presentation and introduce yourself to the moderator (usually in the front of the room) so he/she knows you are in the room and ready to present.
