Joseph Pearlberg, MD, PhD

Joseph Pearlberg, MD, PhD, is the Vice President of Scientific Affairs on the Biotherapeutics group at Deerfield and joined the Firm in 2017. Prior to Deerfield, Dr. Pearlberg was the Vice President of Clinical Development at Infinity Pharmaceuticals. Before Infinity Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Pearlberg worked as a Medical Director in the oncology unit of Sanofi. Dr. Pearlberg received his MD at the University of California, San Francisco, and completed his clinical training at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Dana Farber Cancer Institute. He earned his PhD in Molecular Biology from Harvard University and was a Lecturer in the Department of Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology at Harvard Medical School. He holds a BA in Biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania.
